Snow Joke!

Today it is snowing. I got up at the normal time and decided to brave the weather but just as I finished clearing my car the snow started really coming down. I knew that if I left home now I would be spending 2 hours at least in traffic as various idiots who can't drive in snow try their best to hit my car, followed by hours on the return journey.

I intended to wait until 10ish by which time the snow (and traffic) has normally cleared but today it just kept on coming. It has been snowing all day. Alice has not gone to school. The world is in chaos! It's a good job I can work from home.

Alice is of course very excited about the snow. I was therefore forced to go out in it during my lunch and you can see the results above. Actually the snowman is one of the results, the others being cold hands, cold feet, cold ears etc. You get the idea.

Still, Alice really enjoyed it and that is what counts.

Let's hope tomorrow is a bit better. I don't like working from home as the kids don't seem to understand what working is. This is made more difficult since we had Amelia as I no longer have a seperate office to use. This morning I have had Alice getting excited about the snow and Amelia trying to pull my laptop off my desk. Great fun. :-)

Do you not watch the weather forecast? :o)

I do watch the forcast but they are normally wrong. For the past few years the traffic is really bad until about 10 and then it eases off. This happens even when they say the next ice age is coming.

Today they were right but it was a fluke. :-)
